What's the role

The Associate Manager Carrier Services LLA will perfim functions for all LLA Markets: CWP, CWC (UTS, BTC, Flow), LCR and LPR & USVI. Will lead and manage projects aimed at enhancing our roaming, A2P. ILD and IX services.

Responsabilidades

What you'll do

- Lead strategic Initiatives and manage project execution
- Oversee the project management and implementation aspects of new platforms, projects, and network modifications, ensuring seamless implementation to improve customer experience and contribute to the company's profitability.
- Keep updated status reports and executive summaries to properly communicate status, challenges, and time plans or the different activities.
- De-risk plans for Annual Goals Achievements
- Supervise end-to-end projects for roaming and interconnection services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring timely execution and meeting project milestones.
- Oversee the planning and execution of processes that are required for roaming and interconnection services.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure proper execution of End to End projects, align with business objectives and customer expectations.
- Act as a central point of contact for communication with various departments within the company and third-party vendors.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment and successful collaboration.
- Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to guarantee the successful delivery of roaming and interconnection services.
- Monitor project outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reports to provide visibility on the status, challenges, and time plans for different projects.
- Present regular updates to Roaming and Interconnection leaders and other key stakeholders, highlighting achievements and addressing any issues.
- Utilize bilingual proficiency to facilitate communication with teams and vendors in different languages.
- Ensure clear and effective communication, addressing language-specific nuances.

Calificaciones

Preferred education/ qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certifications in project management are a plus.

Knowledge & Experience:

- Ideally educated to degree level or alternate appropriate industry experience with 3+ years of experience in roaming, ILD, and interconnection in a fixed-mobile operator.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in successfully managing and implementing telecommunication projects. Roaming and interconnection experience is a plus.
- Demonstrable experience of working in a large telco in a complex operational environment managing cross-functional teams.
- Experience and appreciation of working in a customer focused environment essential.
- Strong understanding of telecommunication networks and industry trends.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Ability to drive improvement programs across diverse and complex environments.

- Demonstrate strong influencing and persuading skills, encourage colleagues and teams to change established processes and achieve improvements and best practice.
- Organized and responsible person, able to work with minimal supervision or assistance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to form strong business relationships across multiple locations. English and Spanish required.
