ACCOUNTABILITIES Ensures that full life cycle delivery costs are within or better than the delivery costs contracted according to the service level agreement.• Coordinates the activities of technical solution team members to meet contract obligations.• Provides complex metrics and reporting support to all relevant stakeholders.• Proactively identifies potential issues and drives resolution to avoid customer impact and facilitate continuous improvement.• Identifies opportunities for growth and innovation.• Builds and sustains effective communications with all stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an effort to maximize the customer experience and relationships.

The ITAM tool specialist will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and developing Asset Management toolsets to support various needs of Dell customers. This position will help in configuring and customizing out of the box instances or developing workflows and integrations on the platform, including making suggestions and implementing improvements in the tool and workflows.

Responsibilities
• Maintain ITAM tool Production and non-production environments in compliance with Industry standards
• Evaluate and modify technical configuration and integrations as required with changing business needs.
• Understand and Troubleshoot Integration technologies API, Web Services (Rest, XML, Json)
• Automate and Integrate multiple Data sources to ITAM Tool Platform
• Create and modify ETL Processes (Extract, Transform, Load)
• Design and implement technical solutions as per Dell’s Asset management solutions.
• Troubleshoot, any problem that comes with the ITAM platform environments: Performance issue, replication issues, operational issues
• Excellent experience on MSSQL administration
• Server management, configuration, and administration. Experience with windows servers and newer. Role configuration, user and file permission Administration, Event log investigation
• Deploy and troubleshoot discovery agents, collection servers and applications services
• Coordinate with ITAM Tool publisher, Dell teams and customer IT teams for implementations, technical support, and enhancements.
• Apply application patches and version upgrades
• Ensure the end-point license usage is optimized
• Familiar with using PowerShell, html, visual basic
• Adhere to best practices to maintain data accuracy and completeness in appropriate environments, code migrations and requirement traceability
• Deep understanding of an asset management database structure
• Build and sustain effective communications with all stakeholders towards the goal of maximizing Customer Experience
• Analyze customer’s IT setup – ITSM, Discovery, HR tools etc. and work towards implementing and configuring tool, dataflows, and connections
• Analyze implemented ITAM tool setup and suggest improvements to support Dell’s ITAM solution recommendations to mature ITAM Program’s and to address gaps
• Identify and remediate potential issues with the ITAM tool (system/performance issues, constraints, etc.)
• Maintain related program and process documentation
• Identify and implement continual process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Focus on innovation to deliver relevant solutions to meet our customers’ needs

Skills and Experience
• Show a depth of understanding in IT asset management policies, procedures and ITAM best practices
• Must have ITAM tool experience (implementation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting) working on industry leading asset management tools like Eracent, Flexera FNMS or Snow software
• Experience in designing and developing workflows and connections with different Discovery, ITSM, HRMS and other required toolsets
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• High comfort level with work in a virtual/remote environment
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to demonstrate professional discretion and sound judgment
