Operations Director
The Operations & Supply Chain Director is responsible for all phases of multi-site plant operations including: primary processing, production, engineering, maintenance, quality, supply chain
The Operations Director is responsible for achieving safety, quality, efficiency, cost and delivery targets, through optimizing plant utilization, process improvement, cost containment, labor and resource utilization, and maximizing profitability within across the food manufacturing operations. The Operations & Supply Chain Director will drive engagement and foster a team environment and culture across the sites that delivers and sustains high performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for supporting the sub-regional network of delivering products and services across the entire supply chain, from raw materials to end customers.
• Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operation of a multi-site manufacturing network, leading 300+ end to end operations workforce across multiple site
• Engage in the design, planning, execution, control, and supervision of supply chain activities with the objectives of creating net value, building a competitive infrastructure, leveraging regional & worldwide logistics, synchronizing supply with demand, and measuring performance sub-regionally
Develop a robust sub-regional function that will sustainably support the business & customer needs, by integrating all aspects of ERP systems, resources effectively, as well as integrate all recommended optimizations to planning / execution processes to the standardized expected WOWs.
• Foster a culture of customer centricity, safety, quality and accountability
• Partner with multifunctional teams on the development and execution of Capital expenditure being accountable on the Return on Investment
• Ensure established inventory levels are in line with optimized levels for meeting customers’ requirements and working capital levels targeted by Kerry
• Remove waste and constraints from the production process to improve efficiencies and enhance productivity
• Provide coaching and guidance to operations teams to develop operations / leadership capability and drive performance outcomes
• Develop strong talent development plans to ensure both a high performing and sustainable Operations Function within all Kerry Sites
• Drive continuous improvement environment, through process review, education and culture change across the operating sites
• Establish an environment for harmonious industrial relations, safe work practices and compliance across the operating sites.
• Ensure assets are kept at efficient levels and in compliance with regulations
• Maintain plant sites security systems
• Drive and support a superior safety program across all sites, including timely communication initiatives
• Ensure adherence to the relevant quality standards, partner with the QHSE teams on application of methods, production standards and food safety programs
• Comply with all relevant Codes of Practice & laws
• Ensure the Business Continuity Plan, in consultation with the leadership team is current, robust and maintains continuity in the event of emergency across the sites
• Continually evaluate and trend operations improvement programs and assess fit for implementation across Kerry operations

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
• 10+ years progressive experience in a key leadership/management role at a food manufacturing facility/multi-site manufacturing footprint
• Project management experience
• Proven ability to lead local and regional programs/projects with the experience of owning and being responsible for budgets and associated timelines
• Previous experience/strong understanding of budgeting/expense management with a basic understanding of financial and accounting practices
• Strong computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point and/or Access)
