Job Description:

The Project Coordinator serves as a Corbus PMO consultant, assigned to work on various projects with our Fortune 50 global client in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. The PC supports the coordination of technical production and design resources (both contract and service line) to provide a highly effective program to marketing/design teams. The role focuses on technical production elements of the overall project coordination of the packaging design process program. Responsibilities and daily duties include, but are not limited to:
• Coordinates activities of multiple internal and external parties involved in the packaging design process (i.e. vendors, agencies, designers, suppliers, printers, manufacturers, etc.).
• Performs daily administrative tasks related to the packaging design process (opens purchase orders, enters project data into systems, coordinates meeting schedules and project calendars, and attends meetings, takes and distributes notes).
• Tracks project timelines and regularly communicates project status updates and project needs to all pertinent parties.
• Serves as the main point of contact to ensure the smooth execution of the packaging design program.
• Ensures the final product meets the approved design specifications and the design marketing strategy is implemented in a timely and effective manner.
• Analyzes project related problems or issues, researches information and resources, and suggests workable solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Business, Printing Management, Packaging or related field. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1 year of related experience as a Project Coordinator, Design Coordinator, etc. a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
• Basic project management and reporting skills.
• Experience working with creative and production resources on package design, marketing or similar programs a plus.
• Experience working in the consumer packaged goods industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of marketing concepts and activities involved in packing design, package content updates, and product graphics is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze a situation, create solutions and problem solve.
• Ability to work independently and as a team-player.
• Outgoing, adaptable, assertive and can-do attitude.
