Job description
Maintain and develop good relations with transport companies, collaborating companies and other suppliers.
Responsible for creating, leading and developing the overland team in his country.

Your tasks and responsibilities
* Monitor performance indicators on a monthly basis
* Negotiate rates for land export in LTL and FTL services
* Negotiate local costs with companies and carriers, organize visits to transport companies on a regular basis.
* Support sales with competitive rates for new clients as well as for new projects.
* Ensure that operational procedures are met by the customer service department, as well as by operational departments and suppliers.
* Optimize the productivity and profitability of the department.
* Manage the operational activities of the department including personnel situations, evaluations and preparation of annual budgets and compliance with local goals.
* Establish the targets for employees, also promoting self-reviews of employee performance.
* Maintain and update the local work instructions in accordance with the regional ones.
* Participate in the development of SOP for clients.
* Participate in the implementation process for new clients or new services.
* Review the routes for land transportation and optimize the use of vans, saving costs when possible.
* Is responsible for reviewing and authorizing the payment of invoices and credit notes corresponding to the overland service, doing everything possible to minimize the preparation of credit notes.
* Is responsible for the monthly closing of the overland operation
* Review of the Data Quality reports

Your skills and experience
* Bachelor Degree
* Fluent English
* 5 years in overland experience
* 2 years of learship experience
