Under the direction of a lawyer, resolve routine legal matters.
* Manage and coordinate registration of leases, purchases, amendments and usufruct including every document of assignment in favor of SBA. (Introduction and removal of documents coordinate property tax assessment, property transfer sworn statements and payments).
* Manage and coordinate with owners and government official presentation and removal of documents in state institutions and delegations as Public Registry and ANATI, for possessory rights cases in the country.
* Develop public documents, which are necessary for negotiations and that requires SBA to include testimony released.
* Manage buyouts (purchases and amendments), property due diligence, drafts, protocols and deeds and other matters with Public Notaries.
* Availability to travel outside the province of Panama for signing documents and it´s registration in the regional offices of the Public Registry.
* Correspond with others on a variety of legal issues, including obtaining additional information.
* Manage and coordinate with banks and other financial institutions to obtain their consent for lease registration, mortgage cancellation, etc.
* Maintain and distribute multiple trackers and records mandated activities.
* Preparation of legal requests and file process.
* Preparation of letters, memos and reports.
* Monitoring of the documents in the Public Registry.
* Other duties as assigned.
Experience Required
* Lawyer authorized by the Supreme Court of Justice without penalties or suspensions, with active functions to provide public writings
Preferred
* Experience in possessory rights is a plus
* Experience in the Public Registry process
