Fluent in English and Spanish

High school diploma, Technical degree or higher is required

Proven experience as Production Supervisor, Manager or similar role

Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment

1-2 years experience working in a used clothes sorting and grading factory/warehouse

Understanding of various types of manufacturing machinery and tools

Intermediate skills in MS Office and Excel

Organizational and leadership abilities

Communication and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

Problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Open and close the warehouse daily

Oversee purchasing and delivery of office items

Oversee and follow-up with accountant on payroll

Check finished product for problems or faults and isolate any damaged or inconsistent item immediately

Make sure that finished items are stored safely prior to being taken for packaging

Ensure proper labeling of finished items and ensure that they are packaged properly

Ensure all supplies and equipment are available prior to each shift

Advocate safety practices to the rest of the production staff

Manage different stages of the production line by being actively involved in each procedure

Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance

Enforce daily/weekly/monthly objectives

Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules

Oversee and coach employees

Check production output according to specifications

Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements

Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures

Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards

Provide daily report to director on performance and progress
