The Primary function of the role is to oversee the smooth running of the country Facility; to maintain and develop good customer relations with existing clients and promoting new business. Key to this role is to develop the Branch to its full potential and profitability.
1. Business Development
· Responsible and owner of the P & L and the management of the same
· Involve in setting and monitoring of Targets for all departments, both for GP, Direct/indirect costs and NPII
· Provide information to central Sales, to assist in the completion of tenders/business proposals
· Management of Sales including driving them to achieve their pre-set target
· Active involvement with major accounts for the branch in conjunction with both
Regional/National management and local Sales
2. Customer Service
· Ensure the maintenance of high standards of customer care, i.e. ensure that existing customers are serviced professionally by Operations and Sales staff.
· Meet/visit clients, where applicable, which may involve unsociable hours, and travel outside office hours/Aly
2. Branch Management
· Manage staff operations
· Manage and cost controls for all facility providers at the location
· Co-ordinate the office/transport to ensure all work is carried out to pre-set service levels and procedures as well as reviews these regularly to seek improvements
· Manage of both on and off site personnel and developing their role with the clients concerned
· Maintain discipline within Branch
· Recognise and resolve day-to-day operational problems in conjunction with Operations/Sales staff
3. Financial Control · Ensure timely processing of invoices/costs in line with Internal Financial controlling regulations · Ensure that strict Credit Control guidelines are adhered to by all staff
4. Report · Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports, as required by management
5. QSHE · Implement all QSHE policies & guidelines · Ensure all business processes to be followed as per systems/guidelines and working instructions
· Strictly adhere to all QSHE directives (incl. Code of Conduct, Ethical Behaviour, FCPA etc.)
