Resumen

What is the role?

The Business Analytics Senior Analyst will leverage strong business and financial expertise to perform complex analyses that support exploratory work and generate meaningful insights. These insights will help identify and prioritize use cases based on Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning tools. The role contributes to LLA’s understanding of key business pain points that can be addressed through analytics-driven solutions, and supports the definition of objectives, KPIs, and go-to-market plans, including the expected impact on business performance indicators.

The position is responsible for developing financial impact assessment models for all implemented use cases and operational enhancements led by the Advanced Analytics team. Additionally, the analyst will perform specific key analyses under the guidance of senior team members (e.g., churn profiling of fixed customers in Chile). The role also involves building dashboards and tailored reports to evaluate the area’s return on investment, as well as to assess overall business performance and the effectiveness of specific models and actions.

Responsabilidades

What you'll do

- Identify value levers and operational requirements for business cases design and modelling
- Model use-case impact and potential value creation from the introduction of advanced analytics tools
- Support the business analytics manager or the delivery manager to prioritize advanced analytics´ efforts to ensure optimal ROI over available resources
- Support the business analytics manager or the delivery manager to implement the defined go-to-market strategy of Advanced Analytics use cases
- Support the insertion of Advanced Analytics tools using agile methodologies to improve the operations in Liberty's OpcOs
- Track and analyse the resource allocations and spend in the area vs the value generated at an effort level

Calificaciones

Preferred education/ qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of experience consulting, investment banking, private equity, startups, advanced analytical teams or related industries
- Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills
- Data driven mindset, proven experience solving complex business problems using big datasets.
- Proved capacity to design complex financial and operational models
- An analytical, numerate mind able to present business cases with clarity
- Eager to learn new methodologies, big data tools, and machine learning tools
- Strong presentation skills which include:
- Construction of clear and impactful power point documents

Knowledge & Experience (non-excluding):

- Experience working in Cloud Big Data environments such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Azzure is a plus
- Data management related masters is a plus
- Experience programming in SQL, Phyton, R, Stata, SPSS is a plus
- Experience working in Agile organizations is a plus
- Telecom experience is a plus
- AI/ML management experience is a plus
