Job Details

Responsible for directing and ensuring the execution of aircraft maintenance, ensuring continuous airworthiness, operational safety, compliance with the RACP, the General Maintenance Manual (MGM) and the Inspection Procedures Manual (MPI), as well as the technical availability of the fleet to meet the operational requirements of the network.

He has authority ov er operational areas of maintenance, including production, on-line maintenance, MCC, bases, stations and workshops, being responsible for the timely recovery of decommissioned aircraft, tracking dispatch reliability (MDP) and reducing irregular operations attributable to maintenance.

Coordinates with the internal areas the availability of human, material and technical resources for the execution of scheduled and unscheduled works, ensuring their correct execution in accordance with approved procedures.

Leads the staff of the area promoting an organizational culture aligned with corporate values, being responsible for the performance of the team, the results of the organizational climate and the use of continuous improvement tools provided by Human Resources.

It is also responsible for the management of safety and security risks within its operational scope.

Main responsibilities:

Operational Management and Airworthiness- Lead all maintenance operations ensuring compliance with the RACP, MGM, MPI and other approved manuals.- Lead all operational areas of the Senior Maintenance Management, including, but not limited to:- Production- Line maintenance- Maintenance Control Center (MCC)- Main bases- Stations- Own and subcontracted workshops- Ensure continued airworthiness and the safe return of aircraft to the service.

Dispatch Reliability, MDP and Network- Contribute to the safety and timely dispatch of aircraft, monitoring MDP metrics by complying with policies and procedures.- Manage and guarantee the maintenance resources necessary to achieve and maintain dispatch reliability objectives.- Be responsible for the rapid recovery of out-of-service aircraft, prioritizing their availability for the network.- Reduce irregular operations attributable to maintenance.

Management of MEL and Irregular Operations- Coordinate the timely closure of deferred MEL, in conjunction with MCC, Engineering, Quality Control and Operations.- Monitor the impact of MEL and technical events on the continuity of the network and define corrective actions.

Coordination of Resources- Coordinate with the different departments the availability of human resources, materials, spare parts, tools and technical support for the execution of scheduled and unscheduled works.

Safety, Security and Compliance- Ensure, within its operational scope, the correct management of safety and security risks associated with maintenance operations.- Promote the identification, evaluation, mitigation and monitoring of operational risks in accordance with the SMS and the applicable security systems.

Leadership, Culture and People Management- Measure team results through employee satisfaction surveys.- Define, implement and follow up on action plans derived from these surveys.- Follow up on round tables and ensure attention to staff concerns.- Actively promote DHL's organizational culture.- Monitor the performance of the personnel unde
