WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
A candidate with a strong technical background, ideally qualified and experienced in the refrigerated container industry. Alternatively, you have a background in refrigeration, container shipping/marine electrical, mechanical or associated areas and hold a relevant bachelor’s degree.

Furthermore, it is essential that you:
• Are a good communicator with the ability to interact with all levels of management, operations, sales and technical personnel within our customer’s organizations
• Have a solid understanding of the commercial drivers of the reefer industry and the respective companies in the region.
• Are self-motivated, self-disciplined and able to operate with minimal supervision
• Have the drive to succeed in a highly competitive industry

Native Spanish with good written and oral English skills are a requirement, and French would be desirable, but not essential.
Extensive travel within the region is required, as well as occasional requirements outside the region.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Your responsibilities will be technical support to MCI Customers and Service Providers of the Star Cool reefer machine.
You will also:
• Manage and develop the Star Cool Service Provider network in the region
• Conduct and support all training activities in the region
including technical and product familiarization.
• Support sales maintenance and expansion activities along with field trials and introduction of new products


WE OFFER:
*The Regional Service Manager will be responsible for our Central American customers, Service Providers and technical field support activities. The position will primarily involve service of the Star Cool reefer products with a strong focus on technical sales support.
The position reports to our North American Service Manager, but will be based within the area of operations.

*As a Regional Service Manager, you will be an integral part of a diverse global team supporting one of the most advanced products in the industry, the Star Cool reefer machine.

*You will cooperate closely with our customers and service providers in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean along with your regionally based colleagues in the USA and Chile.
