Responsabilities:
• Supporting Senior Management in achieving financial targets and minimizing risk by providing relevant, timely financial information and analysis in a cost effective manner.
• Review individual country financial statements for accuracy and compliance with the local GAAP and Corporate close guidelines and procedures.
• Responsible for understanding and execution of accounting and financial Corporate Policies.
• Analyze and understand the variances for B/S and P/L accounts.
• Monthly interactions with Corporate and local teams to build a better communication channel in order to review, financial information, process and operational issues that could have impact in the accounting close.
• Develops effective reports, presentations and communications to inform Top Management of financial trends and activities in the Latin American Countries.
• Review, supervision and validation of reconciliations process with other teams in Corporate and Latin-American accounting offices.
• Support ensuring that audits are performed in the most efficient manner taking advantage of Exactus & PeopleSoft tools, resources among other teams and overall Corporate directions.
• Support the preparation of annual Tax Bridge: Comparison between local and US GAAP and support to Accounting Managers in the calculation of the income tax return.
• Contributes and maintains written departmental standards and procedures
• Builds strong relationships with peers and Finance Director to best meet company goals and objectives.
Requirements:
• B.S. Degree in Accounting
• CPA required
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience including progressive experience with multinational companies. “Big 4” Public Accounting experience well preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with various levels of management.
• Ability to deal conflict situations and work under pressure.
• Ability to plan and prioritize task.
• Ability to quickly adapt to change.
• Strong process improvement and ERP system implementation experience.
• Strong Excel, Access and SQL skills.
• Knowledge of Exactus and PeopleSoft is a plus.
• Spanish / English Bilingual mandatory.
