DUTIES: This position is responsible for processing manifest import export documentation within established deadlines and
regulatory requirements. May receive, reconcile, consolidate and/or
summarize documents and information from customers. May
coordinate cargo movements with intermodal, equipment and traffic
departments. May be required to interpret, review and apply
appropriate rates to bills of lading based on the applicable tariffs in a
timely and accurate manner, assuring compliance with appropriate rules
and regulations. This position may include working in a call center
environment.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent, with course work after high school and job-related training preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
2 - 3 years transportation experience, along with specific knowledge of various or operational service requirements.
Minimum 1 year utilizing Sarah System.
Proficient knowledge of all Freight Services processes. Data entry skills (8,640 kph with 95% accuracy rate).
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Proficient with Windows applications
Exposure to international shipment documentation
Ability to work under pressure
Be able to handle multiple tasks with responsibility
