Education/Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or Construction management as the minimum requirement.
Minimum 8 years of successful, relevant scheduling and time management experience in a heavy infrastructure development environment. Experience with design-build and concession projects especially in Latin Americas highly preferred.
Extensive experience in Primavera P6 and MS Project software required.
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Excellent verbal and writing communication skills in English.
Fluency in Spanish is not required but highly preferred
Key Job Duties:
Establish, implement and continuously improve the schedule management procedures along with necessary guidelines, manuals, tools, methodologies and software for the use by project schedule engineers.
Perform high level scheduling, schedule analysis and resource demand projection service supporting the Business Development Team in proposal/bid preparation.
Supervise the project schedule engineers in the performance of WBS definition, CPM-based scheduling tasks including, but not limited to baseline, 3-month look ahead, 3-week look ahead and weekly schedules, schedule updates and revision for design-bid-build, design-build and concession projects utilizing P6 or MS Project software.
Support the project schedule engineers and project managers in addressing the Engineer’s comments on schedule submittals.
Perform internal review and approval of baseline and updated schedules ensuring the baseline and updated schedules meet all contractual time constraints and delivery milestones.
Supervise and support the project schedule engineers in the performance of source loading and schedule updates.
Perform independent delay analyses as part of delay claim(s), research project documentation relating to claim data and organize project documentation necessary to create an organized document.
Develop and evaluate various what if schedule scenarios.
Participate in the process to develop mitigating strategies to maintain program costs and schedule goals and objectives.
Analyze and report on scheduling trends and performance data.
